Organic Green Lentils
Organic green lentils are a great source of protein, low in calories, rich in iron and folate, gluten free and a perfect natural alternative to meat for vegans and vegetarians. Excellent in stew and soups.
To cook: Rinse them well, then boil in a large pan of water or stock for 35-45 minutes. You can soak for 30 minutes first to lessen the cooking time.
Allergens: Packed in an area that also handles nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds and gluten.
Storage: Cool and dry, away from direct light and strong odours.
