Baking Powder (Gluten Free)




Baking powder is a dry chemical leavening agent, a mixture of  bicarbonate and a weak acid. The base and acid are prevented from reacting prematurely by the inclusion of a buffer such as cornstarch.

Baking powder is used to increase the volume and lighten the texture of baked goods. Perfect for use in sponges, cakes and puddings.

Weight – 100g net

Usage:  Add 1 tsp of baking powder to the mix per 100g of flour.

Ingredients: mono calcium phosphate, corn starch*, sodium bicarbonate. *Indicates Organic ingredients

This product is Coeliac UK and Kosher certified. 

Allergens: Packed in an area that also handles nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds and gluten.

Storage:Cool and dry, away from direct light and strong odours. Keep airtight.
