Due to the high oil content, unfortunately ground almonds cannot be packed in paper bags.
Ground almonds, also known as almond meal is made from almonds which are first blanched, and then ground into a powder. Ground almonds are not as fine as almond flour but they can be interchanged successfully in recipes.
They are great for baking anything from pancakes to cakes and biscuits. They can be used as a wheat flour substitute and used to make almond milk.
